Lizzie Anne Sketch Challenge #29- Card

Hi everyone! I'm back with my card for this week's challenge. I decided to turn the card as it was working better with what I wanted to do. For this card, I used our "In the Meadow" set. I'm all about the flowers today. My yard is finally seeing more color and I love it! I think my favorites are the Irises that are blooming right now. Pretty soon my roses will be blooming and the scent will be heavenly. It's always interesting to me how perspective changes over time. When I was growing up I HATED doing yard work. I thought the only good thing about it was that I could get tan while doing it. Now I really enjoy gardening. It's really rewarding to look back and see what I've accomplished, and to see the beauty of everything. I just wish I had my grandmother's green thumb. She had the most amazing garden. She won first prize at the state fair every year for roses...and her garden was truly heaven. I can still smell the fragrance.
